The French language is often a beautiful sounding language that is a pleasure to learn. The problem I had created when trying to learn though (and you also sure enough have to) is the fact that it is difficult to learn a fresh language fast by reading a book. I started teaching myself French by reading many books, but never made any significant progress, and positively wasn't confident of getting a talk in French. That most changed though as a result of lucky meeting!
Permit me to begin with praoclaiming that learning a whole new language isn't particularly difficult, but only if you happen to be gaining knowledge from a trusted source. This can be to convey you will want to be trained correctly and not simply grab any old book on "How to Speak French". In case you are thinking of learning French I'd definitely say "go for it"! It's a really nice language to speak and intensely enjoyable to learn. Remember to yourself a favor though and save wasting money on the various French language guides available. Instead, put money into the same resource that I used and i also strongly suggest to be able to learn French online fast.
